CBD is NOT a medicine, but a dietary supplement.
Cannabi Omega nowhere claims that this supplement can act as a medicine.
This product should not be considered as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
The information on cannabinoid (CBD) use is intended as a decision aid for people who want to self-medicate cannabis.
Our explicit advice is to ALWAYS discuss this with your DOCTOR first.
We make no medical statements and the information is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.
What is CBD?
CBD stands for cannabidiol and is one of the 104 cannabinoids that occur naturally in the Cannabis sativa that is used by us.
CBD is extracted from the tops of these plants.
Most CBD products are made from the same cannabis plants that are also called industrial hemp.
Hemp plants are grown completely organically in the Netherlands and Austria, among others.
What is CBDA?
Freshly harvested industrial hemp contains a lot of CBDA.
By heating CBDA, CBD is created. This increases the total CBD content. During the production process of the Pure CBD oil
, the CBDA is completely converted to CBD and during the production process of the Raw CBD oil this only partially happens.
What is the difference between CBD and THC paste (cannabis oil)?
CBD oil is made from industrial hemp and contains no THC.
THC oil is made from weed and contains THC.
THC oil is illegal in the Netherlands and only available on doctor's prescription.
Can I use CBD paste in combination with other medicines?
CBD is broken down by the same enzyme used to break down drugs (CYP450).
This causes a delayed breakdown of certain drugs.
Some examples of medicines for which CBD oil in particular should be used with caution are:
- Bètablockers
- Antidepressants
- Antipsychotics
- Benzodiazepines
- Statins
- Blood thinners
- Steroïden
- Anti-inflammatories
- Antibiotics
Can CBD paste be taken with you on a trip?
CBD is sold and used in many European countries, but the legislation is not equally clear everywhere.
Are you travelling within Europe by car, bus, ship or train?
Then in most cases you can take CBD oil with you.
Always check customs rules of the relevant holiday destination before departure.
Are you going to a destination outside Europe or are you travelling by plane?
Then we do not recommend taking CBD products with you.
Many non-EU countries have very strict anti-drug policies and the risk of problems is high.
If you use on medical advice, you can apply to your doctor for a medical passport stating how much and why you are taking this medicine.
